Motrex LLC QA Tester (Frontend and Backend) - 6-month Contract Onsite in United States
Overview
POSITION TYPE: 6 months contract. This role will be onsite 5 days a week at our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, GA
Stryten has developed a unique IoT driven, industry-specific, multi-tenant CRM for the industrial electric vehicle market and BESS. This is a chance to work with an embedded engineering team on one side that is working through the edge computing pieces of a multi asset system - battery, charger, vehicle, and gateway.
Responsibilities

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Evaluate product code according to specifications and SW engineer guidance.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Qualifications
The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required:
Front End Experience: JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Redux and Query
Back End experience: Node, JS, Rails, and Python
Familiar with DBMS technology, including Postgres, MongoDB, and SQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcached
Knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
Understanding of Operating Systems, including Linux
Understanding of cloud infrastructures, including AWS Fargate, CloudFormation, Code Pipeline, and EC2
Understanding of network infrastructure, database, cloud, data center operations, security

- No supervision is anticipated
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Required: English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret requirements documents, industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers or suppliers.
