Overview
Stryten Energy (formerly Tulip Richardson Molding) a new company name with a long history in the Niagara Falls, NY area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
Assist and support machine shop activities as it relates to mold preparation, mold maintenance, mold repair and maintenance machining projects.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities
Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
Perform tasks assigned by Machinist Lead.
Complete work requests / work order with a clear description of work done.
Work on special projects as assigned.
Willingness to work as a team.
Able to handle multiple tasks with limited supervision.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Apprenticeship Training certificate (preferred but not required).
Three years experience as machinist.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:
Must demonstrate skills in the following:
Fundamental understanding of injection molding
Basic understanding of mold construction and mold maintenance principles.
Machine tool set-up
Surface grinding
Blue print reading
Physical requirements as defined in associated job analysis.
Design Skills, if applicable:
- Basic mechanical layout (dimension and sketch tooling, jigs, fixture and ect.)
