Injection Molding Plant Skilled Trades Hiring Event - 3/22/23, 12:00 pm (Noon) - 2:30 pm
Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Niagara Falls, NY area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
Maintenance Technicians:
Pay starts at $32.11 per hour.
The shift schedules are 4 days on @ 12 hours/ and 4 days off. Day shift and night shift available, must be available for overtime including weekend.
A Maintenance Technician is responsible to maintain all facility equipment and machinery in safe and efficiency operating order utilizing electrical, hydraulic, welding, pneumatic and mechanical skills. Performs other related tasks as required. Additionally follows all safety rules, wears all required personal protective equipment and keeps work areas clean.
Some experience is required - great opportunity for those:
Who ever worked with assembly, air cylinders, air operated, PLC, or hydraulic equipment;
Military veterans looking to transition to civilian jobs or veterans looking for a new process-oriented environment;
With mechanical maintenance trade skills, perhaps learned from specialized schooling, automotive repair, industrial equipment exposure, and or set up procedures.
Tool and Die Maker
The hourly pay rate is $25.35 per hour.
Day shift - 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Tool and Die Makers assist and support machine shop activities as it relates to mold preparation, mold maintenance, mold repair and maintenance machining projects. Under direction of the Machinst, will perform machine tool set-up, surface grinding, and develop an understanding of injection molding.
Apprenticeship training certificate preferred and related work experience required.
Tool and Die Machinist
The hourly pay rate is $32.50 per hour.
Day shift - 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Tool and Die Machnists provide leadership for tool-related projects and repairs, coordinate the day-to-day operation of a Tool Shop, physically repair both mold and equipment tool related problems and coordinate mold preventative Maintenance Program(s).
Requirements - Qualified Journeyman Toolmaker or trade school with 5 to 10 years experience. Tig welding skills a plus. Note - this is not a CNC shop where you will sit at a CNC machine and make 25,000 ‘widgets.’ We favor those who have made, or worked on Injection molds (or compression, or blow molds, or dies).
