Motrex LLC Senior Full Stack Developer in Nepean, Ontario
Overview
Stryten is developing an Internet of Things management system for the next generation of energy storage systems. The developer will be a key contributor to a multi discipline team including product management, systems, embedded systems, and application development developers. Join us as we bring new technology to high growth emerging markets that have yet to exploit IoT at scale.
Position is based in the Atlanta area. We will consider other locations
Alpharetta, GA; Charlottesville, VA; Denver, CO; Ottawa, ON (Canada)
Responsibilities
Carry out full life-cycle software development: plan, develop, document, test software
Architect new client interfaces and backend APIs
Work with other disciplines, including the product owner, systems, UI/UX, embedded software and hardware developer
Qualifications
University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training/experience
Minimum 6 years experience in software development
Front End Experience using JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Redux and Query
Back End experience using Node, JS, Rails, and Python
Familiar with DBMS technology, including Postgres, MongoDB, and SQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcached
Knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
Understanding of Operating Systems, including Linux
Skilled in management of cloud infrastructures, including AWS Fargate, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, and EC2
Ability to visualize a proposed system and build it
