Overview
The Sales Operations & Pricing Manager (SOPM) is at the core of Stryten Energy’s commercial operation collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Management. This is a very strategic position as Stryten Energy executes on its strategy and works to achieve its sales goals. You will help us instill structure and processes to scale, refine our approach to the order to cash process, and drive standardization of sales and pricing processes. The SOPM is responsible for the oversight of both the Sales Operations and Pricing teams; which may include but is not limited to day to day administration and operational tasks, ie: administration of Sales Policies, Sales Programs, Audit Compliance, Customer Onboarding. The SOPM will also oversee the administration of the assigned customer price, adjustment, and / or accrual files, and system data. The SOPM will be responsible for building processes that will aid with improving its customer satisfaction by working with both the Sales Operations and Pricing teams towards driving operational excellence for Stryten Energy.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing sales processes for sales teams, specialists and other representatives
Researching and analyzing data to create sales forecasts
Collaborating with other departments and upper management to identify business goals
Recruiting, hiring and training sales representatives
Identifying customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends
Creating and managing automation tools to increase sales process efficiency
Complete oversight of the assigned Customer Service & Pricing teams
Track long term sales data
Implement new technologies as needed to support marketing, sales, and customer service teams
Serve as a liaison between teams and upper management
Follow ethical practices with consumer and customer data
Train staff on new technology and software
Assist with account management
Create and / or maintain accurate reports regarding shipments, fill rates, on time delivery.
Monitor the daily shipping schedule to ensure FIFO and on-time order fulfillment
Ensure all Sales Policies, Processes, and Programs are followed
Monitor, create and / or maintain accurate reports regarding customer price lists, pricing discrepancies, margin analysis, etc…

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Previous Customer Service and Pricing experience
Previous Supervisory or Management Experience preferred
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Ability to manage a wide variety of situations and personalities while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to provide team motivation and employee development to maximize customer and employee satisfaction
Comfortable working with all levels of an organization including but not limited to, Sr. Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Accounting
Experience with Root Cause analysis, Corrective Action Requests
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing customer service team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary
Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications to serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams and upper management
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies
Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
Technology skills to utilize CRM and database software tools in daily tasks
Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to identify process improvement opportunities
Knowledge of MS Office applications, intermediate skills in Excel required (ie: Vlookups, Intermediate calculations)
Knowledge of Order Entry and ERP systems; IQMS preferred
Experience with data analysis, control metrics, and the establishment and monitoring of KPI’s
