Overview
Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Milwaukee, WI area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
Responsible for the improvement and control of the ISO Quality Management System. This to include but not limited to creating new and editing quality documents, document control, internal audits, calibration, and corrective and preventative actions. Also responsible for assisting with manufacturing floor support and testing of raw materials.

Responsibilities

Safety is our overriding priority. If an unsafe condition is found to exist, actions must be taken immediately to correct the situation to keep all team members safe and get manufacturing equipment operational as soon as possible.
Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all ISO documents. This to include but not limited to:
Routine review and revision of all quality management procedures, control plans, PFMEA’s, DFMEA’s, process flow diagrams, forms, department work instructions, etc.
Document organization and acquisition of all document approvals.
Lead all internal auditing required by Quality Management System to ensure consistency and compliance to ISO standards, assist with training of internal auditors as needed.
Measurements and documentation as required to help complete PPAP submissions.
Assistance with any incoming inspection and raw material testing as required.
Assist as required for manufacturing floor support. This to include but not limited to:
Routine quality audits of the manufacturing lines.
Quality problem investigation and corrective actions.
Assistance with product specification interpretation.
Attend all Production Meetings as required by Quality Manager and present data and data analysis as required.
Must complete all required hazardous waste training and comply with all TRM hazardous waste and handling procedures.
Attend all Management meetings, safety committee meetings, and all employee meetings as required by upper management.
Follow all ISO 9001 requirements, implement changes as they are updated.

Participates in internal audits.
Follow all ISO / IATF requirements including creating and maintaining ISO / IATF documents.
Other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, or Quality Manager.
Bachelor’s Degree in field related to Quality is preferred.
Professional certification by American Society for Quality (ASQ) as Quality Engineer and/or Quality Auditor.
Ability to communicate accurately and comfortably with all levels of management.
Good attendance and performance work history.
Motivated self-starter that can productively work alone and in groups to solve problems.
Must have and exhibit strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Must be fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process and communicate with other shifts.
Good personal interaction as well as good verbal and written communication skills to influence peers and direct reports.
Good listening skills.
Able to be active on their feet and out on the manufacturing floor for the majority of the workday.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
Able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
Ability to communicate accurately and comfortably with all levels of management.
Must be able to efficiently and accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
Motivated self-starter that can productively work alone and in groups to solve problems.
Proficient in English (ready, writing & verbal skills).
