Overview
Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
The individual is responsible for testing and measuring products produced by Stryten and materials received from suppliers for all areas of the plant. Provide accurate, objective, and timely results of testing and measurements with production personnel (supervisors and operators) to contain an issue, determine the root cause, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing results, as well as, following all documented test methods. Comply with Srtyten and ISO/IATF 16949 procedures and requirements as applicable.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities
Follow all EHS requirements for handling and disposing of hazardous wastes
Follow all EHS requirements for proper ventilation use and wearing proper PPE
Perform quality testing inspections per the Control Plan
Perform Measurements per Control Plan to support NPI and PPAP process
Follow all test methods, generate and communicate any deviations from documented test methods for accuracy of procedures
Ability to perform duties of QA Coordinator – FSA, In process inspection, dock audits.
Communicate in a timely manner all test results to production teams and immediate supervision
Monitor data collection in our current SPC systems per the Control Plan
Maintain accurate and details records of all testing results
Maintain accurate records for all incoming CoA documents
Maintain accurate records on age of chemicals and when they must be replaced
Verify that all CoA documentation conforms to the current materials specifications
Provide day to day quality support to manufacturing in the form of test results, auditing, and guidance
Be available to work flexible shift hours and breaks to ensure support to production testing
Monitor and maintain quality workstations in the lab - daily validation that gauges, CMM equipment and data entry systems are in good working order, work areas are clean and organized, tools and gauges are properly cleaned and stored after each use.
Proficient in the use of a CMM and an Optical Comparator
Responsible to ensure that the respective testing gauges are within calibration and are conforming to standard requirements (good working order).
Participate in supplied part and internal part periodic sampling plan. Work with direct supervisor that all parts are picked and labeled for traceability
Work with the team on problem solving initiatives and link actions to test results
Assist in communication of any changes or replacement of work instructions.

Qualifications
Education, Experience, Certifications:
Minimum High School degree or GED
2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment measuring product with various measurement equipment and gauges.
CMM programing is a plus

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE:
Detailed oriented, maintain a clean organized lab
Must be quality and customer oriented
Knowledgeable in ISO / IATF16949 quality standards
Must be able to use a computer to enter data and understand or see data errors
Good skills in data collection – calculator, see trends, enter data into a data base
Familiarity with Quality Operating Systems
Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment on multiple projects
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to lift / move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
