Motrex LLC Quality Systems Specialist in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Overview
Stryten Energy, with a long history in Lancaster County, operates a growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township. We produce plastic components for car batteries and have a stable and growing customer base.
Responsible for leading the facility through successful quality system certification and continued compliance.
This is a first shift position (7am - 3pm)

Responsibilities
Develop and implement modifications of the Quality System to keep it compliant with the ISO standard.
Coordinate the maintenance of records from all departments and department heads, which confirm compliance with procedures and controls of the Quality Systems.
Serve as an advisor to all levels of personnel regarding the proper methods to follow to adhere to the Quality System requirements.
Analyze, evaluate, and present information concerning manufacturing instructions, control of documentation, verification of reports, and assist with training of employees.
Review controls and procedures of departments and recommend solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
Lead Management Review Meetings.
Assist with processing Corrective Action Requests and maintaining CAR Log
Maintain Control Plans, Deviation records, ECO, FMEA, SPC, PPAP & EWR documentation.
Supervise and train Internal Auditors; assist with follow-up of all corrective action.
Comply with current Quality Systems Requirements.
Perform necessary duties as corporate liaison for all issues relating to documents at the plant level, processing ECO, Deviations, EWR, etc.
Keep track of all PPAP submittals ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and samples are kept.
Facilitate completion of all Corrective Action Requests (CARs) initiated or received.
Coordinate external calibration of all relevant gages.
Provide backup for QA Manager; with the ability to act in QA Manager’s absence.
Maintain calibration system (including internal and external gages)
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related subject, is suggested but not required. Consideration given to skills and equivalent experience with regard to Quality Systems in manufacturing. Auditor training is a plus. Excellent communication skills; relating to all personnel verbally and in written form.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:
PC, and general office equipment; Microsoft experience is a plus.
Able to perform continuous walking, standing, and lifting.
Design Skills, if applicable:
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings.
