Motrex LLC Maintenance Supervisor in Hanover, Pennsylvania

Overview

This position will manage, plan, organize, control, and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and service of plant manufacturing equipment, buildings, and facilities to ensure optimum production effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, direct, and control all aspects of the Maintenance Department

  • Manage Electromechanical Technicians

  • Oversee all aspects of Maintenance operation software (Leading2Lean)

  • Oversee MRO budget and Maintenance labor budget

  • Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure that inventory is accurate

  • Oversee plant shutdown activities relating to maintenance labor, equipment repair, and equipment startup

  • Coordinate and implement maintenance safety and equipment training programs

  • Ensure maintenance employees are complying with company policy and applicable safety regulations

  • Responsible for development of solutions to eliminate critical equipment downtime issue

  • Identifies best practices to reduce equipment downtime, eliminate recurring equipment issues, and improve efficiency

  • Develop proposals for equipment upgrades and replacements

  • Oversee capital budget

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Certifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Management preferred but not required

  • 6+ years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Supervision, OR a combination of education and experience.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of RSLogix, and FactoryTalk View Studio

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Be able to read, understand and apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams

  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and pneumatics systems.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to respond to critical time sensitive assignments while maintaining a professional temperament and attitude

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand and/or sit up during required work hours

  • Ability to wear a respirator when required
