Motrex LLC Production Scheduler in Charlottesville, Virginia

Overview

The Production Scheduler position is in charge of processing all customer orders through the systems and schedule them according to customer requests as well as production schedule capabilities. This position is in charge of validating correct product specification and clarify any questions with sales representatives. This position is in charge of maintaining all production schedule reports available to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule customer orders through the corporate system (JDE)

  • Update Salesforce complete information

  • Schedule orders in production Spreadsheet

  • Maintain order records physically and electronically

  • Work with sales organization in the scheduling of orders to address special requests

  • Responsible to assure shipping records are reflected in the production spreadsheet.

  • Provide necessary information to complete the billing process.

  • Maintain physical records in order for all customer orders.

  • Deliver ad hoc reports assigned by manager and perform other duties identified

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1 - 3 years of purchasing and material scheduling experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the mentioned tasks

  • Warehouse management experience is a plus

  • Excellent written and oral communications are essential as negotiations will be an important role in this position

  • Strong computer skills. Experience in ERP system a plus.

  • Preferred experience in MISys

  • Exposure to manufacturing of Electronic components or industrial chargers a plus

  • Working knowledge on inventory management techniques desired
