Motrex LLC Field Service Technician in Buffalo, New York
Overview
The Field Service Technician is a customer-oriented individual who provides excellent service and customized solutions. This individual repairs batteries, chargers, and battery handling equipment in a timely and efficient manner at the customer's site, while also actively seeking opportunities to offer the right products to the customer. You'll have access to a company vehicle and training to make you effective. But, you need to bring a working knowledge of standard shop tools, a good understanding of basic electricity/electronics, and the ability to read, analyze and interpret documents. If you enjoy bringing solutions to the customer and don't mind getting your hands a little dirty, this might be for you!

Qualifications
We’re looking for:
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A sharp eye for new business opportunities!
A high school diploma/GED/equivalent is required and one-to-three years of battery or field service experience is desired.
If you have industrial maintenance experience, that would be great!
And, if you are certified to operate a forklift, that's the right stuff! You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to succeed in this role.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Individuals are occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50lbs daily and 51 to 150lbs with the assistance of equipment on a daily to weekly basis
Regular use of safety glasses.
