Motrex LLC Full Stack Developer in Alpharetta, Georgia
Overview
Stryten has developed a unique IoT driven, industry-specific, multi-tenant CRM for the industrial electric vehicle market and BESS. The system is still being built out in several key areas and we need a full stack developer to 1) help perform this work, 2) learn from the current lead developer, and 3) lead future development & integrations as we deploy this tool across our company and partners. This is a chance to work with an embedded engineering team on one side that is working through the edge computing pieces of a multi asset system - battery, charger, vehicle, and gateway. On the other side is a creative UX & development team reacting to these changes and helping to create new business models for the company and our business partners. Responsibilities
Carry out full life-cycle software development: plan, develop, document, test software
Architect new client interfaces and backend APIs
Work with other disciplines, including the product owner, systems, UI/UX, embedded software and hardware developer
Analyzing, writing, building, testing, documenting and deploying software
Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for web-based applications
Coding the server-side elements of inCOMMAND
Weighing in on new UX to insure it works within the overall schema
Identify new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability
Perform backend integration and mantains graphic standards and branding acros the UI
Providing feedback to management during the development process
Become the Subject Matter expert that can take Stryten to a new frontier as Software As A Service provider, SaaS.
Learn about battery technologies and KPI metrics, for sales, engineering and service support.
Open to travel to laboratory, factory, or customer field visits.
Qualifications
University Degree in Computer Science
Minimum 4 years' experience in software development
Front End Experience using JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Redux and Query
Back End experience using Node, JS, Rails, and Python
Familiar with DBMS technology, including Postgres, MongoDB, and SQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcached
Knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
Understanding of Operating Systems, including Linux
Skilled in management of cloud infrastructures, including AWS Fargate, CloudFormation, Code Pipeline, and EC2
Experienced with network infrastructure, database, cloud, data center operations, security
Ability to visualize a proposed system and build it
