As a Corporate Communications Specialist at Stryten Energy, you won't just be part of the Corporate Marketing and Communications team; you'll be at the forefront of furthering our vision to solve the world’s most pressing energy challenges. The Corporate Communications Specialist creates high-impact content that resonates with our employees, customers, and the broader community of stakeholders while ensuring a consistent brand image across all platforms. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications and Digital Marketing, your contributions will be integral to the successful execution of our company’s communications strategy and tactics. Responsibilities
Internal Communications
Create and distribute company announcements, newsletters, and updates.
Manage corporate communications and marketing content on the company’s intranet platform.
Craft compelling stories that resonate with our internal audiences and support the organization's culture and values.
Monitor and measure the impact and effectiveness of messaging and communications strategies using analytics tools, reports, and feedback.
Graphic Design
Create visually appealing and effective graphics for various communication channels.
Design marketing materials, presentations and other collateral as needed.
Ensure brand consistency in all visual communications.
Social Media
Create compelling and shareable content across various platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube.
Collaborate with the Communications team to manage and maintain our social media presence, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
Develop and execute social media strategies to engage and grow our online community.
Monitor and report on social media analytics and trends.
External Communications
Assist in the development of press releases, media kits, and other external communication materials.
Support the company’s government affairs outreach efforts.
Support digital marketing efforts including email campaigns and online advertising.
Support the creation of marketing and promotional content as needed.
Establish key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or communications, and at least 2 years of proven experience in a communications or marketing-related environment.
A strong writer/editor and an excellent communicator. Superior grammatical and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage last-minute changes.
Self-motivated, good at taking initiative and comfortable operating under a degree of ambiguity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other relevant tools and platforms.
Travel, other requirements:
Open to travel occasionally.
